NetSuite Script Inventory is a Chrome extension designed to help NetSuite administrators, developers, consultants, and technical teams review SuiteScript inventory from their NetSuite environment.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the extension accesses, how that information is used, and how it is stored.
NetSuite Script Inventory accesses NetSuite website content necessary to provide its functionality. Depending on the features used, this may include SuiteScript-related information such as:
The extension accesses this information from the NetSuite environment in which the user is already authenticated.
NetSuite Script Inventory does not provide or operate a separate authentication system.
The extension uses the user’s existing authenticated NetSuite browser session when communicating with NetSuite. The extension does not request the user’s NetSuite password and does not use the Chrome Cookies API to collect or store NetSuite authentication cookies.
Information accessed by the extension is used only to provide the extension’s user-facing functionality, including:
The extension does not use NetSuite information for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, lending, or purposes unrelated to its stated functionality.
NetSuite Script Inventory may store script inventory information and lock-scan progress locally using Chrome extension storage.
This local storage is used to restore inventory information and scan progress when the extension side panel is reopened.
This information remains within the user’s Chrome environment unless the user explicitly exports information to a CSV file.
Local extension data may be replaced as the extension is used and can also be removed by clearing the extension’s data or uninstalling the extension.
CSV files are generated only when the user requests an export.
The generated file contains the inventory information selected for export and is saved through Chrome’s download functionality. The extension does not send the generated CSV file to the extension developer.
NetSuite Script Inventory communicates with the user’s NetSuite environment to provide its functionality.
The extension does not transmit collected NetSuite inventory information to the extension developer’s servers.
The extension does not sell user data.
The extension does not transfer user data to third parties for advertising, marketing, profiling, creditworthiness, or lending purposes.
The extension does not use third-party analytics services to collect NetSuite inventory information.
NetSuite Script Inventory does not download or execute remotely hosted JavaScript or WebAssembly as extension code. Extension code is packaged with the installed Chrome extension.
The extension requests Chrome permissions that support its core functionality. These permissions may include access required to:
These permissions are used only for the extension’s stated purpose.
NetSuite Script Inventory does not maintain a developer-operated database of users’ NetSuite inventory.
Locally cached inventory and scan state may remain in Chrome extension storage until it is replaced, cleared, or the extension and its associated local data are removed.
Downloaded CSV files remain wherever the user chooses to store them and are controlled by the user.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the extension’s functionality, permissions, or data practices change.
The current version of this policy will be published at this location with an updated revision date.
